You can copy, copy, copy, copy and then paste, paste, paste, paste - all so quickly. If these two features were added, I believe Savvy Clipboard would be perfect for my needs. If you want to actually edit/change/update any of the entries, THEN right-click or control click what you want to do with them, but there should be a default for double clicking so you can do everything more quickly. Text should open for editing, URLs should open in browser, emails should open a blank email, images should open in a predefined image editor, etc. This is the other feature I think is important and would like to have added: Be able to double click all entries for a default action. Please, PLEASE work on adding this feature! I'm constantly copying from emails and pasting, and as a result, I still need to open SmartWrap, which I also really like. Well, there have been two updates since then and I'm disappointed that the most important feature (to me) hasn't been added yet, and that is: strip the carrots, forced returns, junk from emails when copying and pasting. When I bought it, I mentioned these to the developer, and he said they were definitely planning on adding one in the future, and he would think about adding the other. But, I could love it even more if it included a couple more features. I bought Savvy Clipboard in March 2008 and I use it every day, and I love it. With Savvy Clipboard, you speed up your work (no need to look for items again and again) and gain a new level of control over things you work with. Moreover, it's now easy to backup the entire list of your clippings, or even move it to another computer as needed! The wide export (and printing) capabilities add convenience to using Savvy Clipboard for various purposes. And if you want to use some items frequently, you can "lock" them in the topmost positions in the list, and use handy shortcuts to access them. You can label your items with brief notes, edit clipboard text items (in the registered copy of the program), send emails, and store your passwords in a handy way. You just select the needed item from the list and it is ready to use from the system clipboard, so you can paste it anywhere you need. It will hold a list of items that you copied - text fragments, graphics, URLs, multimedia data, or links to files - and let you access them using this list. Way back when it was just someone's project on the AHK forums I contributed a couple of fixes to it, before it was so complex.Savvy Clipboard is a really handy and non-intrusive clipboard manager for OS X with a lot of additional capabilities speeding up your workflow. The code is pure spaghetti and filled with goto statements and global variables and trying to understand it is a lost cause, but despite that it's almost bug-free and covers all of the corner cases, including copying from zip files, Microsoft Office documents, images, files, etc. While it is written in AutoHotkey and hasn't seen any updates in 8 years, it still works perfectly under Windows 11. And tapping Z strips the text formatting. It's so intuitive that it makes other clipboard managers feel clunky. Tapping X switches actions (Paste, Cancel, Delete, Delete All), and releasing Ctrl commits the action. Pressing Ctrl+V while holding Ctrl down brings up a tooltip with the current item on the clipboard, and you can move backwards and forwards through the stack by tapping C and V (while still holding Ctrl). The main functions are all accessible with the regular Ctrl and ZXC keys, in the normal flow. Ditto is good but I am partial to the user interface of an AutoHotkey program called ClipJump.
